The Passing of Parade of 117No.Batch of Assam Police Battelian was reviewed by Sri Jayanta Malla Baruah,Hon'ble Minister, Public Health Engineering Department of Assam Government and took the Salute in a programme held on 2nd May,2023 at 8th Assam Police Battalion Ground,Abhayapuri.He offers his greetings and best wishes to the batch and says that the batch will perform their duty honestly so that they can fulfill the hope of Sjt. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Assam in giving justice to the general public.
Jawans of Goalpara district,Dhubri,South Salmara-Mankachar and Bongaigaon district completed their training and will be posted. A total of 879 Jawans completed their training.
Sri Dilip Kumar Dey,Deputy Inspector General of Police,Western Range gave the inaugural speech today.
MLA of Dhubri LAC was present in today's programme.SPs of different districts including Bongaigaon were present in the programme. Sri Dhrubajyoti Das, District Development Commissioner,Bongaigaon, Smt Simi Karan,Sub-Divisional Officer(C),North Salmara,Dr.Sadananda Nath,Principal,Abhayapuri College were present among other dignitaries.
